It’s that time of year… late fall approaching early winter, when there might not be a better time to visit the National Parks of southern Utah. Simultaneously avoid the crushing summer crowds and the crushing summer heat and enjoy all five of them: Zion, Bryce, Capitol Reef, Canyonlands, and Arches. Here are some samples from my adventure that might give motivation to riders, car campers, road trippers and bold hikers.

Thanks Dana! Yes, Capitol Reef doesn’t get the big press but the 50 mile off-road route to Cathedral Valley is one of the real gems of the West. Definitely worth the time and effort.
